Jordan Wilson
Jordan has grown up in the horse world around Calgary. As a young rider on her quarter horse Little Boy Blue, she competed in hunter, jumper and hunt seat equitation classes. Jordan won many prizes and championships.
Then Jordan made the move up to her warmblood horse Catch Me, she continued her winning ways in the open hunters and classics and on up to 1.40M jumpers. Twice Jordan has qualified for the CET medal finals at the Toronto Royal Horse Show – quite an accomplishment!!
Jordan has competed extensively at may shows including RMSJ and Spruce Meadows, here in Calgary. She has competed in BC at Milner Downs and Thunderbird, as well as Thermal in Palm Springs, California. Jordan is a very accomplished rider and has worked with many trainers at various stables.
Jordan is actually a third generation horseman. She grew up in the Hunter/Jumper world with her Mom being a professional horse trainer and coach, as well as both of her Grandparents. As a child she was often found roaming the horse show grounds helping anyone who wanted assistance, so she was a keen helper and teacher right from the start. As she grew older and became more competitive, with her knowledge increasing, she began assisting her mom with teaching lessons and assistant coaching at horse shows. Jordan has taught some smaller lesson programs and discovered she thoroughly enjoys teaching. Looking to expand her knowledge and experience, she made the decision to become our Lesson Horse Instructor!
